What happens to the past once you can no longer cross its threshold? The installation “Five Rooms” was born of the desire to keep a trace of choreographer Daniel Rakovsky's grandparents' old Norman house, about to be sold, where he spent part of his childhood. Five short dance solos or duets, constructed like tableaux’s, bring five rooms of the house back to life, preserving their memory in the infinite details of everyday life.
