Internationally celebrated African American artist Nick Cave, inspired by the trauma of racial and social injustice, began creating as a means to cope with the struggles around him. “376 Days” documents Cave as he simultaneously prepares for a career-spanning survey show at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art and his 80-piece, couture fashion performance “The Color Is,” inspired by the 1978 film “The Wiz.”
