When ailing and widowed 92-year-old magician Ed Coleman, learns that his family and grandson will not be visiting for Christmas, he struggles to reconnect with the world and himself. The film follows Ed, who in spite of his advanced age and overall sense of isolation, attempting to reach out to others through his love of magic and his ability to bring joy, even if just for a moment.
