Carl and Susan, husband and wife, scientist and artist, navigate the challenges of Carl's Alzheimer's diagnosis. Unable to engage in the scientific inquiry of his prior physics career, Carl finds solace in his basement, dismantling discarded electronics in search of the copper inside. What begins as a curious behavior evolves into an artistic collaboration, as Susan turns Carl's copper remnants into individually framed sculptures. Their collaboration culminates in a joyous art exhibit, creating a moment of bittersweet celebration amidst Carl's declining state.
