Everything Passes

'Everything Passes' refers to life, and human existence. In the film everything we see is from the deck of a home in Maine: clouds, distant landscape, birds at a feeder. An older woman stares at the camera, white hair, smiling, in disgust, pensive, fearful. She talks about her English accent, her children, and making Christmas pudding. Summer changes to winter. This is a tone poem, an ode to aging. It reveals what is sensed, not seen.
